The Transition Year Programme commenced in the school.

The school was officially opened by the Minister for Education, Ruairí Quinn.
2013

The Leaving Certificate examinations were completed in the school for the first time.
Fuair an scoil aitheantas oifigiúil ón Roinn Oideachais agus Scileanna i mí an Mheithimh 2013.
The school was granted official recognition by the Department of Education and Skills in June 2013.

Cuireadh tús le tionscnamh nua TFC sa scoil: úsáideann daltaí na Chéad Bhliana iPadanna sa rang.
New ICT initiative introduced to the school: first-year students now use iPads in class.

We said goodbye to Máire Mhic Mhuiris as Principal and warmly welcomed the new Principal, Tony Ó Murchú.

Planning permission was granted for the new building in Kilbride.

The project to build the new school commenced. The construction phase is expected to last 20 months.
